Be. offers silent retreats for engaged mindfulness, a space where change agents can unplug and spend some time within themselves. These residential retreats aim to move participants from feeling stressed to clear headed.
Our retreats incorporate periods of silence, mindfulness meditation, movement, and free time to share and build relationships. They are completely tech-free to reboot life from a 9 to 5 routine to one more in line with natural cycles, engaging in reflection in a tranquil setting. They are appropriate for both new and experienced practitioners.
Be. retreats are offered on a sliding scale to allow participants to pay according to individual means.
be. works with organizations to design customized programs to address their specific needs. Like the retreat, this too is priced on a sliding scale to allow organizations to pay according to their means.
One example of this is a workshop series on mindful parenting for the mothers of students studying in the Kiran School System: a school catering to trauma affected populations through a trauma-sensitive whole-child approach. The workshop aims to convene a discussion around how to parent more mindfully, while giving mothers a way to better take care of themselves and others. This idea was developed as a response to the individual needs of the school and its children. The guiding question there was, where would you want to use mindfulness to get you farthest along in your work.
